Nursing Assistant
Nurselynx’s nursing assistant will follow up on your daily health updates by keeping a record of your vital signs, daily life activities like bathing, feeding patients according to their condition and dietary needs, and providing other basic care.
Licensed Practical Nurse
Though most licensed practical nurses work under doctors and registered nurses in hospitals, and health care facilities, some also provide in-home care. They typically performs duties such as keeping and maintaining records like pulse and blood pressure, taking vital signs, collecting samples, making patients comfortable, providing basic care, control infection and safety, providing wound care, and administer injections. The LPN promotes and maintains the health of the patient, keeping check and balance of the medicines, and reporting the patient’s status to RNs or doctors, while ensuring the patient is heard.
Nursing Practitioner
Nurselynx’s practice nurse will take care of all the aspects of the patient’s care including diagnosis, treatment and also conduct tests. They can also prescribe medications. These healthcare professionals offer a wide range of acute, primary, and specialty care services, like adult gerontology acute care, adult-gerontology primary care, cardiac medicine, family medicine, gerontology, neonatal medicine, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics, pediatric acute care psychiatry, and mental health, as well as women’s health.
Registered Nurse
The direct caretaker of a nurselynx’s patient, a registered nurse, or an RN manages the patient’s daily activities, medications, assessments, and scheduled procedures and operations.
Since they work directly with patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals, they provide basic care and comfort, manage care, control infection and safety, promote and maintain the health of the patient using different kinds of therapy. Some other daily tasks of an RN include recording medical histories, administering medicine and other treatments and getting patients ready for these treatments and exams/ tests, keeping records of symptoms by monitoring with medical equipment, and teaching both patients and their families in dealing with the patient condition and post-treatment care.
Caregiver
Our caregiver’s job will be to plan and manage the medical advocacy, help with personal hygiene and care, and transportation. They assist closely with personal care, including bathing and grooming, dressing, toileting, and exercise. Apart from overseeing and administering medicine, they may also prepare meals, help in shopping, housekeeping, laundry, and run other errands. They are basically everything you need in a house with a patient.
Medical Surgical
A medical surgical nurse provides care to adults with a variety of medical issues and prepares or recovers the patient from surgery. Their tasks may include checking vitals, assessing condition with symptoms, updating records, checking vitals, administering medications and treatments, wound care and changing dressings, equipment operation like IVs, feeding tubes, catheters, and oxygen tanks, running tests, etc. Medical surgical nurses treat conditions like traumatic brain injury, injury from falls, amputation, infections, sepsis, hip and knee replacement, diabetes, etc.
